Let music take the pain away!
Me and my journey through life, from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows and all wacky, funny, deep, depressing and interesting points in between. My interests are varied from one end of the spectrum to another. Basically, the disappointing side of mediocre.

Friday and the Random 10 (Not Glenn Too Edition)
So they saved Glenn that time just to kill him off anyway? When Abraham met Lucille we were like well okay he was the one. And then bam. No. Not Glenn too. Dang. Just dang.

Friday and the Random 10 (Pokemon Go Edition)
So yeah, I think it is about time I mentioned the craze that is currently sweeping the nation: Pokemon Go. And, no I don't play it because, in the words of my friend Scott, "I'm a grown ass man". However, I knew it was going to be huge. How? Well I play another little app called Ingress, which is also developed by Niantic, just like Pokemon GO.
As a matter of fact, all the Pokemon locations (whatever they're called) are actually the locations of portals in Ingress. Like copied straight over. Ingress portals are near objects of art, parks, and historical areas (that's why you can catch Picazulu at places like the Holocaust Museum...it wasn't meant to be disrespectful, it's that it was considered an important location in the other game).
So right now I am working on combining this countdown with a list of the Top 10 Pokemon(s?...Pokemen?...Pokemai?) as told to me by my daughters Wendy and Lorelei. It will probably suck, but here goes:

Friday and the Random 10 (Housing Anxiety Edition)
One of the reasons I took a camping trip last week was to sort out things in my head about my apartment situation. Those close to me know that a new "management" company has come in and have been basically trying to force this white boy to move out. They have hit me with fake inspections with no documentation and imaginary pictures to "corporate". They finally offered me a six month probationary lease (after being in this complex for over 6+ years). I've decided to screw them over and move out instead...and that leads to all kinds of anxiety for me.
I have a partner in crime who will be my new roommate though, so I won't be doing it alone. However, and I can't state this enough, I FREAKING HATE MOVING.
Irony of ironies: As I typed up this blog post, I got yet another notice on my door about "failing to complete annual recertification" (that's a new one, I did do this way back in February). My lease is now terminated effective May 31st, 2016. Luckily that is the date I was going to tell them I will be out by so no worries there. But, see what I have been dealing with here???
Here's hoping music takes my mind off of it for awhile...

Friday and the Random 10 (Post Plague Edition)
Oh man, yeah I know I missed last week but I had a good reason: the plague. Yeah I have been kinda sickly which caused me to miss several days of work. Luckily, I had the sick pay on file to take care of it. Now that I am 85% back to "normal" I can try to get things back on track. How about some music?

Friday and the Random 10 (Super Bowl Warm-Up Edition)
Another week, another new format I am going to try. I will get it right eventually. In other news, the Super Bowl is Sunday between two #SEC quarterbacks. That's all you need to know. Prediction: $cam 20, Omaha 13. And then pitchers and catchers report... On with the music.

Friday and the Random 10 (Work in Progress Edition)
If you tuned in last week you may have noticed down at the bottom I added an actual podcast. I encountered a few problems with the music from YouTube, but hopefully I have most of that sorted out. Don't judge me too hard, it was a first attempt and definitely still a work in progress. Oh well, here we go again. Second verse, same as the first:

Friday and the Random 10 (National Championship Afterglow Edition)
Well things are starting to slow down around here...slightly. It has been a busy time with Christmas and then New Years. Throw in the fact that I am still on cloud nine after Bama won it's 16th championship on Monday, followed two days later by my birthday it is a wonder I even have time to work on my blog. Some changes are in store for sure, and I have already "tested" a few of them. More on that later. For now, on to the music:

Friday and the Random 10 (Back from the Cruise Edition)
So, yeah, I missed a week. With the trains being shut down for refurbishment in the Magic Kingdom, most of us train peeps are using up all of our saved up vacation time. This year a group of us decided to do something together so we went on a cruise to the Bahamas. My first cruise ever (and yes I got me a magnet).
So now that I am back on (semi) dry land, we can get back to our normally scheduled program:

Friday and the Random 10 (NFL Draft Edition)
The only thing I care about when it comes to the NFL draft is where my Bama boys go. The first round had only one Alabama player taken (Amari Cooper, #4 to the Raiders), but he's a stud. Raider nation, you guys will love him. Hopefully tonight more will have their names called. #RollTide
But for now, I am going to see how the Random 10 matches up with the first ten picks in the draft. Before we get started though, how about that Random Ten last week? You can take a quick review by following this link, or trying to figure out the artists from the cool picture below:

Friday and the Random 10 (Opening Day Edition)
Enough basketball already! I mean other than waiting for Kentucky to win it all like everyone thinks they will, and Alabama trying to find a new coach, I am all hooped out. But hold on, help is on the way! (cue The Little River Band) Baseball opening day is Sunday! Yeah, the Braves are going to suck, but at least they are playing a game outside. Then again, I am probably the only person that actually likes baseball anyway.
But before we fill out those lineup cards and sit down with some dogs and a beer, lets take a quick review of last week by following this link, or trying to figure out the artists from the cool picture below:

Friday and the Random 10 (Arresting Elsa Edition)
So here with are with March coming in like a lamb? Lion? Giant magnifying lens between the sun and Florida? Yeah that one. It was 87 degrees here yesterday. 87 m'effin' 87! Y'all that ain't right. I know you think we are all lucky down here, but we dread the heat like you dread the winter. Let's just say it's a nice place to vacation, but you wouldn't want to live here. By the way, those states that "arrested" Elsa from Frozen because of the cold and snow, please keep her locked up. All of us at Disney would appreciate that for non-weather related reasons. K thanks.
Now on to the reason we are here: random music! So I am setting my media player on random and letting it play, then listing the first ten songs that pop up. That's how it works. As always the rules and whatnot are up there ↑ at the top next to the Home tab.

Friday and the Random 10 (White and Gold Dress Edition)

In other news, February is winding down. Oh man, if only today was the 28th then I could do an end of the month extravaganza. But alas no, we are one day short of that so it's just a basic Random 10. However, we do have some exiles on the island this time so the Tarkus may be lurking around somewhere...

Friday and the Random 10 (Black Friday Edition)
As you can tell around these parts I have barely had any time at all to update the blog any. It's a holiday week at Disney and that means one thing: long days with long hours. Nothing like a 73 hour work week to get you all excited for a holiday you can't even spend with your family. #CastMemberLife
However, I just could not let Friday come and go without doing a Random 10. It may be brief and concise, but it is getting done.
Looking back at last week, Exile Island has a lone occupant. Take a big guess who. Yep:

Survivor Blood Vs Water Week 8 Recap
So, Julie quitting last week certainly sent some ripples through some alliances. The numbers game that Jeremy thought he could count on now looks real shaky since it is down by one. The main questions is: would everyone stay the course, or would alliances change?
