But for now, I am going to see how the Random 10 matches up with the first ten picks in the draft. Before we get started though, how about that Random Ten last week? You can take a quick review by following this link, or trying to figure out the artists from the cool picture below:

Wendy Carlos got sent to Exile Island because she broke the rules by showing up more than once in last week's countdown. This means she cannot appear in the countdown below.

1) The Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Def Leppard/Too Late for Love (Pyromania) - Good song from a solid album which really put them on the map. Now they hope Jameis Winston can put them back on the map and not end up just another burning building.
2) The Tennessee Titans hold on to their pick and select No Doubt/Spiderwebs (Tragic Kingdom) - Another solid pick here with much growth potential. That lead singer might go somewhere someday.
3) The Jacksonville Jaguars choose Electric Light Orchestra/So Serious (Ticket to the Moon)- Very familiar with the band but not the song. Maybe a reach with this song/pick?
4) The Oakland Raiders select Jethro Tull/Cross-Eyed Mary (Aqualung) - Not the best song on the album, but a classic "heavy metal" band. Yeah, that was sarcasm.
5) The Washington Redskins select Jackson Browne/Sky Blue and Black (The Very Best of Jackson Browne) - You know, yet another song by him that I have never heard of. I guess this was a "safe pick" since most of his stuff sounds the same. I do not see a point in keeping this song.
6) The New York Jets select The Buggles/Rainbow Warrior (Adventures in Modern Recording) - Interesting song by a band that was in flux and actually disbanded before the album was complete.
7) The Chicago Bears choose Journey/ La Do Da (Infinity) - Great album, but how cool would it have been to have a Chicago song here?
8) The Atlanta Falcons select Chris Squire/Hold Out Your Hand (Fish Out of Water) - Back when all the band members of Yes took some time off during their primes and did a solo album.
9) The New York Giants select God is an Astronaut/Sunny Banks of Sweet Deliverance (Far from Refuge) - Not a splashy pick, but a solid band with well thought out music.
10) The St. Louis Rams choose Pink Floyd/The Hero's Return (The Final Cut) - Blah. Some things I just don't get.

The STCS for this week goes to the Minnesota Vikings who select Joan Jett & The Blackhearts/Fake Friends (Greatest Hits). I am sure they approve of her! Jeez it's almost like she could be one of the daughters from the guys in the band. At least she makes sure that no one gets sent to Exile Island this week. And because there was no "Tarkus" moment, Wendy Carlos gets to return to the land of the living next week. I still have to figure out what to do to improve the Tarkus situation. I'm open to ideas...

As always stay warm/cool and comfy wherever you are. Go Braves and Roll Tide!
Def Leppard is going to play us out!
Standing by the trapdoor aware of me and you
Are the actor and the clown their waiting for their cue
And there's a lady over there she's acting pretty cool
But when it comes to playing life she's always playin' the fool
