Friday (Night) and the Random 10

I almost forgot today was Friday! I guess I was so excited on finally having a day off tomorrow that I just focused on getting through work as soon as I could. Never fear though, I won't leave everyone hanging...

As usual, the rules and whatnot are up there ↑ and looking back at last week I see that Yes joined The Moody Blues in getting the monthly ban.

Oh well, onwards and upwards!

1) Asia/Without You - Epic album cover winner here:

2) Pink Floyd/Take Up Thy Stethoscope and Walk - Yeah, this is complete crap. I'm deleting it.

3) Enigma/Page of Cups - Much better.

4) Jimmy Buffett/Banana Republics - Is it spring break yet? I want to go to the beach and drink a lot while listening to JB.

5) Styx/As Bad As This - This is one of those little gems of a song that is hidden on a very old album (and a sucky one at that) before Tommy Shaw joined the band. John Curulewski sings this one, which is who TS eventually replaced.

6) Kansas/Lamplight Symphony - These guys are such great musicians. There are some great songs on their early albums.

7) The Beatles/Penny Lane - How's that for classic?

8) Apollo 440/Children of the Future - I love these guys. So funky and cool.

9) The Rolling Stones/Gimme Shelter - I feel ya Mick. Blame Tabitha for this one...

10) Steely Dan/Rikki Don't Lose That Number - I need to try more of their stuff. Soft and smooth.

Well, that's better late than never. I actually think this is a pretty good mix, well except for whatever the Hell that Floyd song is. No one got banned and no one got Tarkus'd either. The STCS for this week is Trans-Siberian Orchestra/After the Fall. These guys really need to write a musical. Like soon.

Until next week, stay cool central Florida, and as always Roll Tide.

Play us out boys!
