Friday and the Random 10

Now that I have finished that other wimpy post, it's time for something manly. How about some music? And let's make it random! Yeah, you know the deal. The rules and whatnot are over there → to the right as always. Looking back at last week I see that Chicago and, ummm who would that be, oh yeah Rick Wakeman are banned for this week. On a side note, I deleted a lot of RW last week, only leaving the actual classics. The rest was just...unnecessary.

And now for the manly music!

1) Styx/This Old Man - DDY song from Crystal Ball about his father. Bittersweet, yeah.

2) Van Halen/I'm The One - Eddie is cranking on this one. Classic VH sound.

3) U2/Miss Sarajevo - Once again, I don't get them or the hype.

4) The Alan Parsons Project/Snake Eyes - I saw these guys open for Yes once. I was more impressed with them.

5) Yes/I Would Have Waited Forever - This is from the Union album. You know, the one that should have been ABWH 2. This album came after this personal story. I always look back on it as what could have been. Album cover winner though:

6) Bill Joel/You're Only Human (Second Wind) - I've actually been listening to a lot of Mr William Joel on the way home from work on those long, dark, exhausted nights.

7) Kansas/Can I Tell You - Some real old school stuff here. Actually it's the first song off their first album. Another classic album cover:

8) Genesis/Man of Our Times - When Genesis started becoming awesome.

9) Chicago/I'd Rather Be Rich ABBA/Our Last Summer - Crap. They were going to show up eventually. I like them. Get over it.

10) Guns N' Roses/Dust N' Bones - Well this kind of makes up for that last one right? It does in my book.

Wow, nothing this week was really obscure. All big name acts and no one got banned. Cool, but probably ruined by the STCS. HSAS/Hot and Dirty. Short lived band featuring Sammy Hagar and Neal Schon from Journey. I'm not sure who even remembers this band. Now that's obscure, but no one got the ax for next week.

Until next week, stay cool central Florida.

Play us out boys!
