Friday and the Random 10

Life seems to be getting to that part of year where everything changes. Kids going back to school, football starting soon, etc. One thing you can always count on is the Random 10. I mean, it's become like an institution for ya'll right? (and by ya'll I mean both of my readers). Anyway, looking back at last week, I see no one got banned. Must have been all that RW I deleted. As usual, the rules and whatnot are over there → to the right.

Let's get this party started!

1) Daft Punk/Within - Cool. I've been playing this new stuff from them a lot lately. I'm trying to expand my boundaries some and liking it.

2) Bram Tchaikovsky/Girl of my Dreams - Yeah, no idea. From one of those 80's compilation CD's.

3) Camel/Elke - More soft jazzy music from them.

4) Styx/Do Things My Way - This the "after DDY" Styx. Mostly Tommy Shaw stuff and that makes it good. I wish more people would give them a chance. In the grand scheme of things, they prob need DDY back though.

5) Vivaldi/Concerto No. 1 - I still got class.

6) Jane Child/DS 21 - I used to have the hots for her so bad. It was the 80's, give me a break.

7) GTR/These Eyes - Demo from a second GTR album that never happened. Seemed to happen a lot to Steve Howe back then (ahem, ABWH II).

8) Kansas/Curtain of Iron - Great musicians. Album cover winner:

9) HSAS/Valley of the Kings - Wow, two weeks in a row for this short lived band with Sammy Hagar and Neal Schon. Weird.

10) Electric Light Orchestra/The Diary of Horace Wimp - I always thought this was a strange song, but it was the 70's and ELO was awesome.

Well there we go for another week. Nothing earth shattering there, but a good mix of music. The STCS for this week is Asia/One Step Closer. Sweet. Until next week, stay cool central Florida!

Play us out!
