You know, sometimes I am right about things. In this Random 10 back in January, I first mentioned "Deflate-Gate" and how the NFL wasn't going to shut up about it. It was still being picked apart in the Super Bowl edition, and now that the penalties have been handed down four months later in May (4 game suspension, fines, loss of draft picks) you would think people have lost their minds. The appeal is going to get real ugly people, so stay tuned for that.
Meanwhile in the real world, how about that Random Ten last week? You can take a quick review by following this link, or trying to figure out the artists from the cool picture below:

Exile Island is free and clear of castaways. When you break the rules by showing up more than once in a countdown you get exiled. This stops also you from appearing in the countdown below. Everyone is free to participate this week.

1) Dennis DeYoung/Where I Want To be (10 on Broadway) - This is from one of his solo albums obviously. He has gone head first into that whole Broadway show thing now, but seriously, this man can sing. Great album.
2) Spandau Ballet/Lifeline (The Story - The Very Best Of) - Never heard this one before, but it is definitely 80's. I am not sure if this one is a keeper or not. I mean it doesn't suck, but it's not the reason I added this album to my inventory.
3) Vivaldi/Inverno (The Genius of Rondo Veneziano) - And out of the blue Von hits you with some class. In your face! This is okay, but I prefer to be rocked by Amadeus...
4) Genesis/The Lamia (The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway) - Back in their earlier, much "proggier" days. I have seriously got to spend more time diving into these works. And notice this is the second mention of Broadway already? Sometimes that's how the randomness works out.
5) Asia/Never Again (Phoenix) - Rising from the ashes is the first album in over 25 years to feature all four original members. I always wondered why Steve Howe doesn't jam like this while in Yes.
6) Faith No More/Edge of the World (The Real Thing) - Little funky, kinda jazzy piano song from them on a classic 80's rocking album.
7) Billy Joel/Big Shot (Greatest Hits Volume II) - Billy shows up big time again, but this usually means a trip to Exile Island is not far behind. Let's hope not. Great song though.
8) Anathema/Closer (A Natural Disaster) - Yet another one of those "newer" bands (newer to me that is) that I have found. I am trying to sort out so many of their sounds that I thought Anathema had been in the countdown already. Apparently not. Welcome!
10) Michael Jackson/Billie Jean (Thriller) - As soon as the song started even I started chair dancing. That's what kind of talent he had. Oh, and it's the best selling album of all time.
Of. All. Time.

As always stay warm/cool and comfy wherever you are. Go Braves and Roll Tide!
Billy is playing us out this week:
You had to have the last word, last night
You're so much fun to be around
You had to have the front page, bold type
You had to be a big shot last night
