As usual the rules and whatnot are up there ↑ next to the home tab.
And now for some music!

1) The Beatles/Let It Be (Let It Be) - This is the title track (obviously) of the very last Beatles' album. Why is it that George Harrison is the only happy looking one?

2) Rush/Time Stand Still (Hold Your Fire) - According to Neil peart: "All through the '70s our lives were flying by; we spent so much time on the road that it became like a dark tunnel. You start to think about the people you're neglecting, friends and family. So the song is about stopping to enjoy that; with a warning against too much looking back. Instead of getting nostalgic about the past, it's more a plea for the present."

3) Yes/The Game (Heaven and Earth) - One of the songs from the latest Yes album that I have already almost completely forgotten about.

4) Heart/Silver Wheels (The Essential Heart) - Nice little guitar instrumental piece from their greatest hits album.

5) Aerosmith/Back in the Saddle (Greatest Hits 1973-1988) - Now this was old school Aerosmith. Back in their drug crazy days when they actually rocked. I have no idea what happened to them and the whiny ass music they put out now.
6) Pomegranate Tiger/Gift of Tongues (Entities) - This is another one of those newer bands I have found that people seem to rave about. I need to give them more of a listen.

7) Yes/South Side of the Sky (The Ultimate Yes, Disc 1) - You know you have been around for awhile when you have a 35th anniversary edition of anything. The piano on this song is what made me a huge Rick Wakeman fan. Oh, and banned for next week.

8) Prince/Around the World in a Day (Around the World in a Day) - All I remember about when this came out in the 80's was everyone saying this is "our generation's Sgt. Peppers". But then again, it was the 80's...

9) Return to Forever/Captain Marvel (Light as a Feather) - I am just getting to a point where I am not liking this stuff anymore. It still sounds like Sesame Street music to me.

10) ABWH/The Meeting (Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe) - I just can't. Not even. Perfect.

As always stay warm/cool and comfy wherever you are. Go Braves and Roll Tide!
I am going to let Rush play us out this week (with a little help from Aimee Mann):
Summer's going fast, nights growing colder
Children growing up, old friends growing older
Freeze this moment a little bit longer
Make each sensation a little bit stronger
Experience slips away
Experience slips away...
The innocence slips away
