Friday and the Random 10 (Ghosts of Christmas Edition)

So another week has "flown" by. Really (not really). I just realized that by next week's countdown, Christmas will be over so what I am going to do this week is only do the holiday music I have in my inventory. It's cheating a little bit, but at least it will still be random.

So that means The Moody Blues, who were exiled in last week's countdown, get a free get-out-of-jail card which will release them to the wild. Also, just because it is Christmas, no one gets exiled this week (and because most of my holiday music is the same artists anyway). No idea what is going on here? Check out the rules and whatnot up there ↑ at the top.

Happy Holidays!

1) Meco/What Can You Get a Wookie for Christmas? - Yes, once again, this is a real album. It's a family favorite here in the Blocker house.

2) Elvis/O Little Town of Bethlehem - Nothing makes me think of my grandparents more than this. This was always playing in their house. My Nanny loved her Elvis. And yes she had a big velvet painting of him on the wall. I miss her and my Pawpaw so much.

3) Trans-Siberian Orchestra/Christmas in the Air - I mean how could TSO not show up?

4) TSO/Christmas Dreams - I want to wrap all of my moments around her. Great line.

5) TSO/God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen - I know a lot of their stuff is blown up, but this is simply and quietly played on acoustic guitar. Beautiful.

6) Elvis/Take My Hand, Precious Lord - Yes he was a rocker, but he loved his gospel music.

7) Mannheim Steamroller/Coventry Carol - I'm glad they showed up. Another acoustic piece, but this sounds like something olde English.

8) TSO/The Ghosts of Christmas Eve - Like most of you out there, I also have ghosts from old Christmas's past of people I think about and wonder what they are doing now.

9) TSO/An Old City Bar - Some of their original songs are very good. I prefer the rocking instrumentals though.

10) TSO/Siberian Sleigh Ride - Rocking instrumentals like this one!

Well there we go! I knew TSO would show up a lot so that's why I ditched the rules for this week. I am also going to cheat on the next parts too.

The STCS isn't going to be random. It is one of my favorite sentimental songs about being in a relationship with someone one Christmas and being alone without out them the next and thinking about those "ghosts of Christmas Eve". And I have so many ghosts...

There was only one thing that was going to play us out whether it showed up or not:
