Now, first of all, let me say that I am in no way an expert in any kind of way about this show. Actually I am only a few seasons in, but I'm starting to get the hang of it. This blog post is my way of helping me keep all things sorted out. So take it easy on me if I make mistakes.

A lot to cover here over two episodes. After Tribal, everyone applauded Mike's "Statue of Liberty" speech but Joe said it was dumb that he played his idol. Mike said he had several reasons for using it...one being he didn't want to be that guy who went home with an idol in his pocket.
The first reward challenge was won by Lauren and she opted to bring Devon, Ben and Ashley with her for the plane ride and burgers. Most of all, Lauren started playing hard that this "secret four" should break away from the alliance of seven and do their own thing while keeping up the illusion that "Ben and the round table" were still in charge. They put up all knowledge of the group as well. They know about Ryan's idol and Lauren's advantage. They also agreed to not target Joe or Mike just yet...
While eating burgers they uncovered letters from their loved ones. Ben was having a moment alone with his, telling his story when he noticed a rock with a tribe symbol on it. He dug it up to find a map/clue to an idol. He scouted the area and found it, but decided to keep that info to himself since no one else on the island can seem to keep a secret.

Individual Immunity Challenge
This challenge was to stand with each leg on either side of a floating triangular buoy. Fall off or using your hands to balance causes you to lose.
Probst offered chocolate/peanut butter to the ones who felt confident enough to sit this one out. Devon, Ben and Lauren chose this option.
JP was the only one to drop in the first round. 20 minutes later into the 2nd round, Chrissy fell, followed by Joe and Ryan. Mike held on hard but fell, leaving Ashley to win immunity.

Tribal Council
The main question here is who will stay in the alliance of seven, or would the secret group of four win out? Devon had the idea that Ben should vote for Mike to look like he had been betrayed, and then become a spy afterwards.
Joe got one vote, Mike got three, but as the votes for JP started piling up, Ryan and Chrissy looked stumped, as well as Ben "the actor". JP got five votes and was sent to the jury.

The Aftermath
This sudden blindside at tribal had a lot of people confused, and a lot of people scrambling for answers. Chrissy became emotional and starting losing it when no one would give her any details on the decision to vote JP out.
Ryan went to Mike and asked to play with him, but Mike rebounded with telling him that he has been trying to play with him the last 4 weeks but has been shot down each time. The answer is no. Ryan is the most lost looking person on the island right now.
Chrissy tried to talk some strategy with Lauren and she was like I have been here the whole time too. Why start now? Another no. It was harsh.

This challenge was to use a driving wheel to maneuver a key through obstacles without falling off. Ben succeeded first, followed closely by everyone, but Mike who finished last in this part.
Next up was to take that key and unlock block letter pieces. Devon was first to use his driving wheel to get all the letters to the end and start trying to solve the 12 letter word.
Out of nowhere, Chrissy was able to spell the word "invulnerable" to win immunity.

Tribal Council (again)
This time the secret four were targeting Joe, but also wanted to use super spy Ben. They came up with the idea of a fake split between Ben and Ryan to make Ryan use his idol.
Ashley came up to Lauren and Devon individually and asked if this would be a good time to blindside Ben. So would the four break up after just one week of chaos?
No, they stuck to the plan. Ryan did use his idol which cancelled out the two votes he got. Ashley got two, and Joe the other four to finally be voted out. #CoconutsNoMore
