This Day in Music History (04/05)
Evolution is the fifth studio album by Journey, released on this date in 1979 on Columbia Records. It was the band's most successful album at that time, selling three million copies in the US.
This triple platinum album only peaked at #20 on the Billboard album chart. It had three Top 100 singles: "Just the Same Way" (#58), "Too Late" (#70), and their first top 20 hit "Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin'" (#16).
