Friday and the Random 10

I like that Fridays are my actual Fridays now with my new work schedule. The day actually means something to me now. I mean, other than the Random 10 that is! So let's get the party started!

As usual the rules and whatnot are over there → to the right. Also, looking back at last week I see that TSO and Pink Floyd are banned.

Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!

1) The Black Eyed Peas/Alive - Starting off funky.

2) The Beatles/Everybody's trying to Be My Baby - I know how you feel guys. Beating them of with a stick around here...

3) Styx/Witch Wolf - Ah, from the confusing The Serpent is Rising album (or just plain Serpent). I am going to do a write up on this album one day. It's just so moody and dark and not like them. Here's the album covers (1973 original and gay 1980 re-issue):

4) Def Leppard/Overture - Early, early stuff from them.

5) Emerson Lake & Palmer/Tarkus - No really! This is the whole 20 minute piece which includes: a) Eruption b) Stones of Years c) Iconoclast d) Mass e) Manticore f) The Battlefield g) Aquatarkus

6) Def Leppard/Let It Go - More good early stuff, but unfortunately it gets them banned.

7) Steve Howe/Riviera - One of his home demo pieces from Homebrew 2 which evolved into Yes's Bring Me to the Power.

8) ZZ Top/Planet of Women - Please show me where this place is. These guys are just way too cool.

9) Electric Light Orchestra/Wishing - Typical ELO sound.

10) AC/DC/Money Made - Work, work. Money made. Describes my life perfectly.

Well there we go for another week. No one got Tarkus'd, even though Tarkus made an appearance. Go figure. Oh, and Def Leppard gets banned. The STCS is Daft Punk/Phoenix (Basement Jam Mix). Works for me. Until next week, stay cool central Florida, and Roll Tide!
