Panic! Well not exactly. I do have some techy skills and with the help of Google I was able to revive the hard drive. Seems to be working fine now (cue tragic music), so the Random 10 has been saved!
As usual the rules and whatnot are over there → to the right. Per last week I see that Nektar got the ban. Oh well, on with the (rescued) show!
1) Steve Winwood/Higher Love - Great, great song. I loved his stuff from the 80's. His "Back in the High Life" will be my soundtrack one day when I finally make it big. Write that down.
2) Trans-Siberian Orchestra/Bell, Carousels, and Time - That didn't sound Christmas-y at all. Very ominous.
3) Asia/Am I in Love? - This was from a 1/2 greatest hits and 1/2 new stuff album called Then and Now. This was one of the new songs. It sucked.
4) Pink Floyd/Burning Bridges - Meh. You know my opinion of PF.
5) The Moody Blues/It May Be a Fire - Never heard this song before. I'm kind of glad of that.
6) King Crimson/Providence - Wow, some classic bands so far today. This song is just spacey.
7)
8) Camel/Nimrodel (The Procession/White Rider) - More great sounds from them. Better than PF.
9) Jimmy Buffet/A Pirate Looks at Forty - This is how I feel sometimes.
10) Trans-Siberian Orchestra/Misery - From their non-Christmas Beethoven's Last Night. Goof stuff, if a bit operatic. And banned for next week.
Well that does it. Very classy and proggy this week. TSO and Pink Floyd gets banned, and Nektar tried to show its head but got Tarkus'd. Yeah, that's a thing now. The STCS for this week is Yes/The Man You Always Wanted Me to Be from Fly From Here. As always, stay cool central Florida and Roll Tide!
