I actually picked up some needed singles this week:
Me and my journey through life, from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows and all wacky, funny, deep, depressing and interesting points in between. My interests are varied from one end of the spectrum to another. Basically, the disappointing side of mediocre.

Baseball Card Mail Week in Review (05/25/2019)
As I have gone through all these cards I have (and using the amazing trading card database found here), I have also been compiling a wantlist that I am now posting and updating on the header of my blog's homepage. These are now the cards and items I will be focusing on from here on out.

| This is a card that I already had. It is a 1984 Topps Drake's Big Hitters, but I couldn't pass up getting a copy of it graded PSA 9. |

Wade Boggs Collection (Part 29: Stadium Club and Topps Tek)
I have been documenting the newer Boggs cards (plus others) I have been picking up. However I feel that I am neglecting what I already have, which is quite a massive collection. I have several notebooks separated by company/brand, so instead of pulling individual cards, I found it was a lot easier to just scan a whole page at a time and document them as I go.

Baseball Card Mail Day (04/13/2019)
I mainly focused on cheap serial numbered cards this time around, but it's always a good week when you can get an autograph and a relic!

Wade Boggs Collection (Part 7: Donruss 2001- Present)
Donruss went bankrupt for awhile but came back in 2001. They then did some retro stuff for the years they had missed.

Wade Boggs Collection (Part 6: 1996 - 1998 Donruss)
I stopped the last post about my collection here because things started to change around this time. After flooding the market with worthless cards in the early 90's (and losing a lot of business I'm guessing), the boom was over and most people were interested in things that had certain scarcity. Donruss jumped all over this and brought out serial numbered cards. You're about to see a lot of these in my collection. I buy them every time I find them.

Baseball Card Mail Day (02/05/2019)
Rookies
I was able to snag some more Braves rookies. The first two are Ozzie Albies who you've probably heard of already. This is his 2018 Topps Update RC and his 2018 Bowman Chrome RC. The next guy is a first year player out of Wichita State who basically just kept hitting. This is the 2018 Bowman Draft and Bowman Draft Chrome of Greyson Jenista. Just by buying these I have probably jinxed him for life.

Baseball Card Mail Day (01/31/2019)
Just one card today, but it is a sweet low numbered card of Wade Boggs.
This is a 2014 Panini Hall of Fame Red Frame, serial numbered on the front 14/75. I got this for a whopping total of $3.49, postage included.

Baseball Cards Mail Day (01/10/19)
And the cards keep rolling in. I ordered a lot of cards using holiday gift cards and they all seem to be arriving at once. Gotta get them documented before they start piling up.
This is from 2018 Topps Update. It is an SP (short print) Legend Variation of the base card #23 (JD Martinez). I'm not really sure how rare these short prints are. I see the odds per pack ranging from 1:9 to 1:273 so I have no idea how many of these things are out there.

Baseball Cards Mail Day (01/05/19)
Lots in the mail today. Like I've said in my previous posts, I have some catching up to do with my Wade Boggs collection. I started looking for simple base cards that I needed, before looking for cards I would consider bargains (at least to me).
Okay so left to right is a 2018 Donruss #73, 2018 Topps Archives #248, and a 2018 Topps Salute #76. I got them all for $0.99 each which is about what I would expect for a newer single.

Baseball Cards Mail Day (01/04/19)
In my last post I talked about scanning/documenting all the cards in my Boggs collection at some point. Well I figured I should do that as soon as I get anything new, like today.
I picked this up off Ebay for $1.58 which isn't too bad since it's a Press Proof. I love anything Boggs that is serial numbered because I know that the card is somewhat limited in nature. This one is 087/199. So I paid less than $2 for a card I know there is less than 200 of.
