Friday and the Random 10 (Apartment Finale Edition)

Yeah, I know it has been awhile but I have been dealing with the culmination of the whole bad apartment management scenario. Basically, I wouldn't put up with their condescending (and anti-white person) attitude and just moved out. Me and a good friend were wanting to be in a house again, found one we liked, and moved in over the last two weeks. Sawyer Estates can suck it!

So now I am trying to get back into the normal routine around here, and that starts with music!

Everyone gets a new start around here. Exile Island starts off empty, and will hopefully stay that way for awhile. And as usual, the rules and whatnot are up there ↑ at the top near the home tab.

1) Camel/Ice (Coming of Age) - A nice mellow way to start out the countdown.

3) Ratt/Lay It Down (Tell the World) - One of the better 80's metal bands IMHO. You know it's going to suck finding a video on YouTube when the first things you see are "guitar covers" by people who can't play

4) Def Leppard/He's Going to Step on You Again (Yeah!) - This was their album of covers. Meh.

5) The Moody Blues/He Can Win (The Magnificent Moodies) - This was a not so magnificent song from them

6) Lynyrd Skynyrd/South of Heaven (The Last Rebel) - No, the south IS heaven.

7) Glass Hammer/Only Red (On to Evermore) - Wow YouTube has never heard of them. No video.

8) ZZ Top/Planet of Women (Greatest Hits) - This is where I wanna live.

9) Apollo 440/Stay Frosty (The Future's What It Used To Be) - Much better than Daft Punk to me. They are taking over as my "coolness" factor.

10) AC/DC/This House is On Fire (Flick of the Switch) - Back when they seemed to put out a new album every other week.

The STCS for this week goes to Genesis/Wot Gorilla? ( Wind & Wuthering). Some of that earlier Hackett/Gabriel stuff I haven't really gotten into yet. Exile Island stays vacant for the week from the pretty good mix we had this time around.
