In keeping with the ever growing and evolving list of traditions around here, this countdown will feature not ten, but thirteen songs. But first, as a quick review of last week, you can follow this link, or check out the cool picture below:

I am thinking Exile Island will get some occupants this time around!

1) The Vapors/Turning Japanese - Here's a one hit wonder from the 80's. I am pretty sure they will never show up again, but welcome to the party anyway.
2) Yes/Tempus Fugit (Live) - I am not a real big fan of live albums for some reason. I like the precision of studio recordings. This song was from the Buggles era of Yes that I have covered previously here.
3) Tommy Shaw/Who I Am (Need Water) - Fantastic solo album by TS. Not a bad song on the whole thing. You owe it to yourself to get this one.
4) Pomegranate Tiger/Gift of Tongues - Another one of those new bands I have found. Great sounding stuff so far.
5) King Crimson/Happy Family - I always thought this was an odd, hectic song. Actually the whole album was kind of all over the place.
6) Return to Forever/Where Have I Danced With You Before? - Short but very nice piano piece.
7) Black Sabbath/Black Sabbath - Ummm, yeah. Added me some classic Ozzie! This song is basically awful.
8) The Beatles/The Long and Winding Road - Last week I accused them of mailing it in at times. I think this is the best song they ever did.
9) Jane Child/DS 21 - One of my 80's crushes. That chain that goes from her nose ring to her earring? Sexy.
10) Chicago/Dialogue (Part 1 & 2) - Now this is the Chicago that is epic. Classic album.
13) The Who/I Can't Explain - Neither can I. Who can?

Well that will wrap it up for another week. I am greatly surprised that no one has been sent to Exile Island in several weeks. Maybe that means the randomness is working, or maybe I have just started deleting enough crap to make things run more smoothly. Here's hoping that is the case.

As always stay warm and comfy wherever you are, and Roll Tide!
I'm gonna let Chicago play us out for not sucking this time.
We can make it happen...
