Friday and the Random 10 (Gloomy Weather Edition)

I know a lot of yall out there have more reason than I do to complain about the weather but c'mon Florida! Yes it was 84 degrees a few days ago...in February...but two days later it's in the 40's?!? And today its dark and gloomy. Be consistent already! Ugh!

You know what is consistent? That's right, Friday and the Random 10! Looking back at last week, I see that Kansas gets a weekly ban and The Moody Blues get to take the whole month off. Will the Tarkus arise for the first time in 2014? Inquiring minds want to know...

As usual, the rules and whatnot are up there ↑ on the top. Here we go!

1) Steve Howe/Red and White - This one of his demo songs that made it onto the ABWH album as "Birthright". Both versions are awesome. I was actually surprised at how much of his stuff made the album as opposed to JA or even Wakeman.

2) Vivaldi/The Four Seasons (Spring) - An omen of better weather? And yeah, I got class.

3) Yes/No Opportunity Necessary, No Experience Needed - This is one of their really old songs that was on a dance remix album. Yeah, it's as bad as it sounds.

4) Trans-Siberian Orchestra/Fate - From their non-Christmas "Beethoven's Last Night".

5) Casting Crowns/Every Man - Haven't heard anything from them in awhile. I think maybe that's a bad thing.

6) The Moody Blues/And the Tide Rushes In

6) Journey/Faithfully - Oh dear Lord! This is when they really jumped the shark (actually it started with Open Arms, and should have ended there) and everything had to be a love song. Wussies! You know what? I was going to give them the album cover winner but bump that! Weak.

7) Soundtrack from The Little Mermaid/Les Poissons - Ha! Whatever, this is a great soundtrack. Sacre bleu I have missed one...

8) Magma/Malawelekaahm - You think it's hard to read, you should hear what I'm hearing right now. I cant even describe it. I'm not even sure what language it is.

9) Bill Joel/New York State of Mind - Finally a sense of normalcy around here. Thank you Mr. William Joel.

10) The Moody Blues/Visions of Paradise Congratulations, you have been double Tarkus'd.

10) Velvet Revolver/Just Sixteen - Yeah. Rockin'!

Wow, that was certainly...eclectic? And what the Hell Moody Blues? Nice try, but no. Anyway, I really don't have much to say about this collection of whatever. The STCS for this week is Chicago/Together Again. Meh. I'll just blame it on the weather and be done with it.

As always stay cool (warm? dry? sunny? dreary?) central Florida and a big Roll Tide! for bringing in another #1 recruiting class.

Play us out Chef Louie!
