Friday and the Random 10 (Friday the 13th Edition)

Yeah I know it's been a few weeks since I have rolled one of these out, but you know how the holidays go (especially when you work for the Mouse). And don't worry, the weekly tradition will continue into 2014 as well, plus a few other things I have up my sleeve.

Enough of that Von, get down to the music!

Well, ok. I hear ya. As usual the rules and whatnot are over there → to the right. Geronimo!

1) Go, Go, Go Joseph/Soundtrack, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat - Okay, this is slightly awesome. I do have class and appreciate a lot of musicals.

2) Just the Same Way/Journey - Classic 70's stuff. And awesome album cover.

3) Concerto #2 in G Minor/Vivaldi - I told you I had class. This is from his Four Seasons.

4) November Rain/Guns N' Roses - Epic. Great song from a great band who ruled the world at one time...

5) Yes/Parallels - RW on church organ and JA singing a Chris Squire song. I previously covered this song here.

6) ELO/When Time Stood Still - Another B-side (along with Julie Don't Live Here Anymore) that I actually liked better than the hit singles from their Time album.

7) Yes/Clap (studio version) - This is actually a Steve Howe solo piece that was recorded live for The Yes Album, but this studio version wasn't used.

8) Aerosmith/Sweet Emotion - Another awesome freaking classic.

9) Camel/Echoes - Wow, what would a countdown be without them? I must have way more of their music than I thought.

10) GTR/When the Heart Rules the Mind - Another one of those 80's "super groups" with members from other bands. This one had Steve Howe from Yes/Asia and Steve Hackett from Genesis. Not too shabby for just a one time thing.

Well there we go. Fell better now? And yeah I did notice that Yes gets banned for next week. I know, welcome back right? Anyway the STCS this time around is Phil Collins/Droned. Not bad but he had some better stuff on this particular album.

As always, stay cool central Florida (yes even in December) and Roll Tide!

Play us out boys!
