Friday and the Random 10 (The Moment is Coming)

Another Friday is upon us and what a special Friday it is! It's Doctor Who Eve! Yes, the Doctor returns tomorrow. Cannot wait! Until then I will have to pass my time with trivial things like work and, oh I don't know, how about a Random 10!?!

Giving a look at last week I can see that no one got banned or even Tarkus'd. Been awhile for that. As usual the rules and whatnot are over there → to the right.

And now, the oncoming storm!

1) The Black Eyed Peas/Another Weekend - This is anything but just another weekend.

2) Nektar/New Day Dawning - I still haven't given them much a listen yet. This one doesn't sound too horrible.

3) Journey/Walks Like a Lady - Good 70's stuff after Steve Perry but before the love song derailment of the 80's. You all know my opinions about that. Oh, and awesome album cover:

4) Pink Floyd/Ibiza Bar - Meh.

5) No Doubt/Sunday Morning - On Sunday morning I'll probably be watching Doctor Who for like the hundredth time already.

6) Jane Child/Mona Lisa Smiles - We won't even go into my 80's obsession with this woman. Move along, move along...

7) Soundtrack/Strawberry Fields Forever - From the epic Bee Gees/Peter Frampton movie. Yeah, that one.

8) Camel/Survival - More smooth sounds from them.

9) Dennis DeYoung/Call Me - Hey look, it's another love song from DDY. So not like him. Mood killer too.

10) Return to Forever/Sorceress - I would say this is some funky jazz, but there's really no funk to it. Must be an all white band.

Well this is certainly not the send off I wanted for this weekend. Wasn't much of a storm. Was more like a small shower. Well maybe the STCS can bail us out: Genesis/Like It or Not. Guess not. Seems like they are saying we are stuck with what we got. Oh well.
