Friday and the Random 10

Another week gone by, another week closer to those dreaded holidays. Ugh. The only shining light in the distance is the fact that we are only about 8 days away from Doctor Who returning. Now that is something to get excited about. You know what else is exciting? Randomness! Well, except for last week. That was kind of a dud. No one got banned which is unfortunate because it was basically 70% suck.

Anyway, thinking positive this time around. Making a dream board, listening to The Secret, changing my fate a la Brave, etc. This week can't be worse right? As usual, the rules and whatnot are over there → to the right.

1) Deep Purple/Exposition/We Can Work it Out - I only have this because for years I've read Yes fans rave about this album (The Book of Taliesyn). Color me unimpressed. And yes, this is their version of the Beatles song.

2) Van Halen/Summer Nights - Yes I prefer Hagar to Roth. I guess it was just because of my college years and 5150.

3) Yes/Everydays - This one of those old live versions that make me go meh. Gratuitous Roger Dean yall!

4) Skye Sweetnam/Tangled Up in Me - This was during my phase of actually liking the whole Brittany/Ashley Simpson/Vanessa Carlton type singers. Yeah, I know they're all young females. Shut up.

5) Michael Jackson/Stranger in Moscow - Never heard this song before. No idea how Captain EO here would feel alone in Soviet Russia. He wouldn't stick out at all.

6) The Moody Blues/Ride My See Saw - This one is for all the hippies.

7) REO Speedwagon/Without Expression (Don't Be That Man) - Some good old school stuff here. Album cover winner!

8) Enigma/I Love You...I'll Kill You - This is usually great sex music, but this title would make me sleep with one eye open afterwards. Unless you're into that kind of thing...

9) Pink Floyd/The Grand Vizier's Garden Party - I have been waiting to be able to use this picture:

10) Rush/Countdown - You know, back when Rush could do no wrong in the 80's/90's.

Well that will do it for another week. That was a better mix of music, and no one got banned. The STCS this time around is Red Hot Chili Peppers/Around the World. I can live with that. This time next week I will be one day away from The Doctor. I am expecting an awesome countdown. See you then!

Oh you know she was playing us out...
