Friday and the Random 10

Another week, another Friday, another chance to be embarrassed by randomness. The way it works is, put your media player (or Ipod/mp3 player) on random and list the first 10 songs that pop up. I usually try to have a winner for video and album cover.

And just to note, Rick Wakeman hasn't shown up yet. So now that I've jinxed it, i'm guessing he makes 2 appearance this week. Let's roll the dice and see:

1) Chicago/Lovin' Chains - they just never survived the Peter Cetera/everything has to be a love song 80's...the death knell of many bands...i'm looking at you Journey

2) Thomas Dolby/She Blinded Me with Science - speaking of the 80's...lol...Dolby does some awesome stuff even if this song was kinda cheesy in its edited forms

3) Velvet Revolver/Dirty Little Thing - at some point I will actually listen to this CD and be able to make an informed opinion

4) Rush/Limelight - nuff said! They didnt turn into love song writing pussies wimps during the 80's so they keep their integrity and get the album cover

5) Red Hot Chili Peppers/My Lovely Man - wow, they sure keep popping up

6) Alabama/Music Moves Me - didnt we do this one already?

7) YES/No Opportunity Necessary, No Experience Needed -this version is actually off a weird funky remix dance kinda CD so no album cover for this one...

8) Styx/Love is the Ritual - killer, un-noticed song from their comeback (part 2, 3, 4, or 5?) CD

9) Rush/You Bet Your Life - good one from Roll the Bones

10) Kutless/Give Us Clean Hands - awesome Christian band I saw open for Casting Crowns awhile back...i'll let them play us out....Peace until next week where I'm sure RW will be all 10 songs just from the laws of probability...
