Sometimes, there are some songs that get lost on albums that are truly great. Most of the time it isn't even recognized until years later. So this is a spot where I would like to put those songs in the spotlight for everyone to hear, and hopefully appreciate like I do.
This song is really a deep cut, because it has never appeared on an album per se. It can be found on a collection of demos that was going to be the ABWH II album, but that never came about. This song is called Watching the Flags That Fly and the demo is mostly just Jon Anderson. This song always makes me feel like it's the last days of summer and all the fun is winding down, with everyone leaving for home or going back to school. Thinking of all the fun you had, but now it's over and you know it will never be that way again...
