Looking back at last time I see that no one got banned. Also, I redesigned my page a little bit so now the rules and whatnot are up there ↑ on the top of the page (yeah I had to look up the new keyboard shortcut for that just now).
So let's get this party started!
1) Chicago/It's Alright - This was from XVIII, one album removed from the massive popularity so there were still some hits on this one, but the end came quickly after that...
2) Escape Club/Wild, Wild West - Speaking of the 80's, this is from one of my compilation CD's.
3) The Go Go's/Our Lips Are Sealed - Apparently I'm still stuck in my high school era (Go Red Devils!)
4) Nektar/Cast Your Fate - Now for some early 70's prog. I still haven't listened to them much yet.
5) The Beatles/Polythene Pam - Album cover winner here:
6) Led Zeppelin/Communication Breakdown - Now this is the early LZ that I like. Not sure what that later crap is.
7) Enigma/In the Shadow, In the Light - My meditation music.
8) Styx/Kiss Your Ass Goodbye - This is a live version of the song from their Cyclorama album, which was really good even if there was no DDY.
9) The Piano Guys/Titanium Pavane - Not sure where I came upon them, but I gave them a try and I like it so far. Kind of a modern classical style of music.
10) Boston/Walk On - Probably their last piece of music that is worth a damn. This song actually rocks.
Well there we go. Another good mix and no one got banned again. Hopefully by next week's countdown I'll have finished my book and moved on to the next one (always taking reading suggestions) so look for the forthcoming book review also. The STCS for this week is Foreigner/Women. Yeah, exactly.
As always, stay cool central Florida, and Roll Tide!
Play us out boys!
1) Quiet Riot-Stomp Your hands clap your feet
ReplyDelete2) Stephen Lynch- Tall Glass o’ water
3) Sarah McLachlan- Good Enough
4) Muse –Undisclosed Desires
5) Anthrax- Antisocial
6) Device- Didn’t I read you right
7) Rush- Ceiling Unlimited
8) ELO- In My own Time
9) Fates Warning- Another Perfect Day
10) Pink Floyd- Eclipse
Nothing too eclectic this week other than Device (80’s synth band). Nice to see Fates Warning pop up. They were an 80’s metal band in the vein of Iron Maiden that went progressive. One of my favorite bands ever.
