Music Monday: Styx/The Complete Wooden Nickel Recordings

After allowing some of the early Styx songs to be on the Come Sail Away anthology, Wooden Nickel then remastered all of the old albums and released them as a set together in 2005. This was The Complete Wooden Nickel Recordings.

Music Monday: Styx/Greatest Hits

Styx - Classics, Volume 15 is a greatest hits compilation for the band Styx, released in 1987 by A&M Records as part of A&M's classics series of greatest hits albums for artists on its label. Like Best of Styx (one of my favorites that I covered here), this compilation is label-exclusive. Therefore it only contains Styx's hits on the A&M label. This means it excludes Styx's significant hit "Lady", which was recorded for Wooden Nickel Records.

Now this may seem out of place, but the next Styx album I am going to cover is not the next one in their discography. It is a compilation album from the Wooden Nickle years called Best of Styx.
