Now, first of all, let me say that I am in no way an expert in any kind of way about this show. Actually I am only a few seasons in, but I'm starting to get the hang of it. This blog post is my way of helping me keep all things sorted out. So take it easy on me if I make mistakes.
********************************************************************************
So this is the Heroes tribe: Ben, Chrissy, Ashley, Alan, JP, and Katrina. These guys went immediately into alliance building. It started off as the younger folks (Ben, Ashley, Alan, and JP) forming up against the #momsquad (Chrissy and Katrina). It seemed solid until Alan went batshit crazy on Ashley and JP due to a whole lot of #IdolParanoia. So now it might be Ben/Alan plus the momsquad? Alan has certainly stirred the pot here already.

This is the Healers tribe: Cole, Mike, Jessica, Joe, Roark, and Desi. The only thing of note for this group was that Mike, the sex doctor (which would be an awesome nickname), apparently has a map of the whole island. Umm, what? He was also saying how important it is to find idols, but that was quickly shut down when Joe confronted him over his behavior. #MoreIdolParanoia
********************************************************************************
This group is the Hustlers: Ali, Ryan, Lauren, Patrick, Devon, and Simone. The only thing of note with these guys was that Ryan found the secret advantage on the ship at the beginning when they were all grabbing supplies. The advantage was that it was a "super idol" that could be played after the vote, but only for the first tribal. However if the Hustlers didn't have to go to tribal it wouldn't be wasted because he could will it to someone in another tribe.

Immunity Challenge
This seasons' first challenge involved running up a net and pulling up a cart with wheels to the top. Then everyone is supposed to hop in the cart and ride back down roller coaster style. The first ones down were Heroes so they got to pick 1 of 3 maze tables. Hustlers were next, followed by the Healers who got the last table no one wanted.
After choosing your table, you had to get it to the top of another high rise, put it together, and then get 3 balls to drop. The Healers was first to complete this, even though their table was the one that looked hardest to the other tribes. It was very close between the last to tribes, but the Hustlers got the last ball to drop first, sending Heroes (Levu) to Tribal Council.
* After the challenge Chrissy was down for the count and puked on the platform.
**Since Ryan's tribe was not going to tribal, he willed his advantage to... Chrissy.

Tribal Council
Not much changed here from the original assessment. Either someone from the momsquad was going home, or the rest would break up the imagined "power couple" in Ashley/JP. Things got really interesting when Chrissy finds the package left to her by Ryan. Would she need it or play it?
During the discussions everyone said things were going smoothly until Alan screwed things up. His reply was one that I am sure will go down into Survivor lore, "I'm not crazy. I'm confident".
After all that it played out normally. Ashley got one vote, but Katrina got the other five. There was no need for Chrissy to play the advantage because she voted for Katrina too. So it goes unused (kind of a let down there).

So that leaves us with (total tribal votes received in parentheses):
Levu: Ben, Chrissy, Ashley (1), Alan, and JP.
Soko: Cole, Mike, Jessica, Joe, Roark, and Desi.
Yawa: Ali, Ryan, Lauren, Patrick, Devon, and Simone.

Voted out (in order): Katrina
