I certainly do not get to blog as much as I want to, but I do try to update Twitter or Instagram with stuff where I can to fill in the gaps. You should be able to see them over to the right of this blog. Follow me there for more of my day to day life, especially if you are interested in the Disney side of cast member life.
And now for the real reason everyone is here. Last week's countdown was pretty straightforward with no one getting banned so everyone is fair game. I'm still thinking about that "Viggle" rule though. As usual the rules and whatnot are up there ↑ at the top.
On with the show...
1) REO Speedwagon/Being Kind (Can Hurt Someone Sometimes) - Now this is some real old school REO.
2) The Alan Parsons Project/I Wouldn't Want To Be Like You - I saw these guys open up for Yes in Nashville like in 2005(?) maybe. I was more impressed with them than Yes. Truth.
3) Nektar/Torraine - Maybe it's just Nektar that Viggle cannot recognize. Just as well. This song sucks.
4) Billy Thorpe/Cruisin - Viggle has no idea about this one either. Maybe it's because he is an Aussie? The international acts don't seem to play well with this app. Maybe that is a good case against the "Viggle " rule. Hmm. BTW, shout out to Robin for turning me on to this music.
5) Chicago/Here With Me - From the legendary Stone of Sisyphus album that was rejected by their record company and took 15 years to be released. No really. Read about it here.
6) Big Bad Voodoo Daddy - Zig Zaggety Woop Woop - Well at least this post has a title now. Also:
By the way, this is why I call Matt Smith the "flock of seagulls" Doctor. You know, because of the hair...
8) Def Leppard/10538 Overture - This was their cover of an ELO classic. Decent enough I suppose.
9) Genesis/Keep It Dark - Album cover winner here:
10) Little River Band/Lady - Wow. What a great song this is. A long time ago a had a lady to love...
Now, let me wrap this thing up before I get a little teary eyed over that last song. Yeah I get a little sentimental over things sometimes. Whatever. Maybe the STCS will be a little more manly: Eurythmics/Who's That Girl? Meh, maybe not so much. At least no one got banned this week.
As always stay cool (and dry) wherever you are, and Roll Tide!
I don't care. They're playing us out. I'm such a sap.
